  1. heilsound all the way yall. Ive got the pr40 and works better then those rugged shures. shure just don’t got articulation

  2. I’ve dropped this exact mic several times from ridiculous heights at school, and not once has it even dented or broken. I’m really impressed with how durable it is. This is probably the first try.

  3. “nahh way to pretty” translates to roughly “Hell nah, this things gonna break to tiny bits and pieces if i do that” ?? haha

  4. I’ve seen many episodes that basically prove that this Mic is VERY tough, though I would like to point out that I got a microphone just like this about two years ago, and in one and a half years time of having it, it stoped working. I found out recently that it was a problem with the wiring. I screwed off the top and the wires were disconnected. I have not done anything wrong for that to happen.

  6. I love this video. I LOVE drop tests !! I have owned Shure mics for years and years, good job guys !

  7. i’m a microphone technician at a sound company and these definitely can take a beating. the reason the 57 breaks easier is because of the plastic head. otherwise it’s the same casing and everything. great video

  8. actully the Ipod buds can take a beating, it took me an hour of smashing them into desks and walls at my school to actully break them into not working and cracking them. The ipods themselves, not so much.

  9. heres the two issues. 15 years ago, older stuff wasnt as durable as it is now made. Mexico production. Forgien made products almost never take a beating, take Ipods and fancy cell phones for example.

  10. that’s why Till Lindemann from Rammstein choosed this microphone 😀
watch the song “Sehnsucht” live and you then you know xD

  11. I think it sounded better after it had the happy face on it….lol

guess I should stop getting mad at people for tapping the mic to see if its on huh? or should just not tell them?
