www.nevadamusic.co.ukTesting the difference between 3 different Shure instrument mics on a guitar amp.
Larry Everhart and Larry Stevens are the aptly named Larry and Larry. Mr. Everhart is one of the finest harmonica players we’ve seen, and in this video, he gives us a great overview on diatonic harmonicas and harmonicas of all kinds. Larry uses a Shure SM58 to mic all of his microphones. Check out this video to learn about some of the techniques that Larry uses. See more on gearwire.com.

Yes it is a great mic
I want to start building a home recording studio. At the moment I just use acheap camcorder, but would like to make a home CD. Could you tell which of these mics would be better for the Harp? My budget would be about £250. Please see my channel for a look at the Harp. Thankyou.

YES. It sounds great for vocals.
I use a beta 57a for guitar amps and for the snare drum.
I do.
is it a good idea to use the beta 57 as vocal mic too?
Seems like on “Gear wire” we might hear the gear–mics, amps all plugged in
cool, thanks for the tips from Australia.
what the hell, that mic isn’t even plugged in! haha
