The event is geared to theatre aficionados, sound engineers and operators, orchestra conductors, music instructors and audio dramatists. The interactive seminar will feature techniques for Surround playback, turning stereo libraries into 5.1 SFX, speaker positioning using laser alignment, 5.1 mastering considerations, advanced Surround microphone techniques, RTA, SPL, & pink noise level calibration.
The demonstration will be conducted in FAVs new Corporate home. The new facility includes a 70 seat multilevel fan shaped seminar room with rear screen projection and an adjacent 2,500 square foot multipurpose product demonstration room. The demonstration room has a 28-foot high ceiling, which accommodates the rigging of sound, video, and lighting systems for testing.
