Sean Parker, recently called an Agent of Disruption by a Forbes magazine, was the founding President of Facebook, as well as the co-founder of Napster, Plaxo, Causes, and his latest venture: Airtime. In 2006, Parker became managing partner at the Founders Fund, a San Francisco-based venture capital fund focused on investing in early-stage companies. In 2009, a friend introduced Parker to Spotify, a Swedish streaming music service he considered the legal heir to the Napster legacy. He later invested $ 15 million in Spotify and helped it launch in the U.S. Parker is an active philanthropist, having raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for cancer research.
